D is for Daffodil

I really like the english name of this flowers: Daffodil
It sounds a bit funny for me. In Germany we call them Osterglocke or Narzisse. May be that sounds funny to all others ;-)

    “Daffodil” is a funny name,
    but the really name is OSTERGLOCKE!

    Osterglocke is a lovely name. If you look back at older English songs, you’ll see the daffodil called daffy-down-dilly, which is silly even to me.
